3/21/04: Fantastic Reflection cleaned up and ready for a training session (Cito is in the background). Sold the old one horse trailer this last week and bought a two horse trailer this week. |

| 3/18/04: Today I deviated from the Turley-Ranch charter and bought a halter horse. Okay so this is not in the direction of foundation breeding but her credentials were to much to ignore for the price. She is a two year old with multiple halter world champions on the papers and her conformation is impeccable. I could not pass up the opportunity. Her name is Fantastic Reflection. Check out her pedigree on the Horse Stock page. Pictures of Fantastic Reflection will be up soon. | ||
| 3/15/04: After much delay I have finally added some commentary under the Breeding Program link. This is just my ramblings of why I think my horses are the best! We are still looking to acquire more horses to switch our program in high gear but have decided to get our barn put in first. This will postpone our plans a bit but will better protect our horse family. | ||
| 3/14/04: Cleaned up some of the archive links that did not work right. | ||
| 3/9/04: We have been working with our resident attorney to put together an equine assumption of risk, and release of liability, and indemnification agreement release form. We have received the first draft of this document and are looking it over. | ||
| 3/8/04: Heather and I went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to watch cutting competitions. We also stumbled across a barn design at the ranch trade show that we liked. I am busy calculating costs and materials. We should have a new 8 stall barn installed by July. | ||
3/7/04: On a limited basis, I
have been riding June Bug and Cito. Both are progressing well.

| 3/6/04: The rain has ceased (for now) - things are drying up. Fence building has restarted and paddock #2 should be ready by mid April. | ![]() |

| 3/5/04: Turley Ranch has worked a deal to sell five acres of land that are non-contiguous to the original 28 acres tract. The income from this transaction will be used towards improving the facilities and ranch infrastructure. Specifically, we will be building a new barn. We are looking over plans and possibilities and will hopefully begin constructuction by the end of April. If you have any recommendations, comments, or suggestions relating to barns (i.e. must haves, etc), please email me! Initial specifications include a full slab, minimum of eight stalls with rubber mats, auto watering system, fly spray system, tack room, hay storage, all metal so nothing will burn. | ||
