4/30/04: Turley-Ranch sold off 5 non-contigous acres today while leaving the original, contiguous 28.118 acre estate intact. We are evaluating how best to contribute some monies towards improving ranch infrastructure.
4/29/04: Today I had a conversation with cutting trainer and NCHA (National Cutting Horse Association) judge Bob Hunt. We discussed placing Cito into a training program for cutting for 60 days to evaluate his capabilities. Cito will be transported to Mr. Hunt's facility in Simonton, Texas within the next week or two.
4/26/04: Today I set up a new guestbook feature for our website. To sign the guestbook and leave me some comments on what you think of this site, click here. To view the guestbook, click here. Also, pushed T-posts in with tractor hydraulics. Installed all metal brackets to hold the field fence to the T-posts.
4/22/04: Pulled horse field fence and attached it to the posts on one pasture side.
4/17/04: Today was a hard 12 hour fencing day. In addition to all the normal fence posts, we hung two gates and built two H- posts. We need to put in four more posts, one H post, and stretch the high tensile horse field fence and we will have finished fencing another five acre paddock. Thanks to Rick for lending a hand!
4/13/04: Today we were loaned/are boarding a 7 year old mare (Kings Poco King) and her 13 day old foal. This mare is 96% foundation (with NFQHA) and will be bred to Cito in February of next year. Turley Ranch will get to keep this first offspring from this mare. This will produce a 98% foundation foal. Also updated the Horse Stock page with her new pedigree and revised some of the other entries.

4/12/04: Must have a truck that can pull the new trailer right? This and the trailer should be an improvement in getting to the horse shows.

4/9/04: Finally got around to taking pics of the new horse trailer. It is an aluminum 4-star, two horse, slant load, with dressing room. Our horses prefer riding to shows in luxury! I also got Fantastic Reflection's AQHA certificate in the mail. Her transfer to my name is complete.

4/6/04: The twin bucklings are healthy and growing fast.
Pearl & Her Babies
Cito is quickly becoming an excellent riding horse. Thanks Kurt for the great pictures!

4/5/04: Just got pics of Holly Baker from her mom Veronica. Holly came out to visit the goat kids along with her mom and dad (Kyle). Holly Baker With Pearl & Baby
4/3/04: The 5th annual Turley Ranch crawfish boil cooked up 135 pounds of delicious mudbugs for the 40+ attendees. Thanks to everyone who attended and helped us pull off this annual extravaganza.

4/1/04: It saddens me to report that today our beloved Pomeranian "Cloey" has passed away after 12 years of great times and companionship. I'll miss ya Cloey.
